Former part-time model who drove against traffic, killing another driver, gets five years’ jail

BUKIT MERTAJAM: Former part-time model Ng Pei Ven, 22, who drove against traffic on the North-South Expressway and killed another driver in 2017, has been sentenced to five years’ jail and a RM18,000 fine.

Magistrate Sri Pracha Nanthini Balabedha also ordered that her probation driving licence be disqualified and no new licence application allowed in the next five years.
